We head out of Perth to our first scenic cuppa stop at Dawesville before continuing to Bunbury to drop off any JOJO passengers. Stopping in at Busselton, home of the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere is next before we continue to Dunsborough where we check into our overnight stay, right on the beach! After lunch you will have the choice to either take a cave tour at Ngilgi Cave (optional) or sample some wines and/or beers in this world renowned wine region (optional)or check out the white sandy beach at gorgeous Meelup Bay. Back on the bus and onto stunning Canal Rocks, before it’s time to drive back to Dunsborough to relax at our accommodation or take on the Dunsborough nightlife and mix with the locals you never know you might see a famous surfer or two!

This morning we make our way along Caves Road, passing numerous famous wineries & local bush shacks to the picturesque Margaret River and we drive into town itself for free leisure time to explore & tune in to the laid back local lifestyle. Do you like Chocolate? Why not sample some local produce? Next we continue to Augusta & enjoy a leisurely drive leading us to Cape Leeuwin where the two magnificent oceans meet the Indian & Southern, marked by the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. From here we head into magnificent karri tree country through to Pemberton to the ginormous Gloucester Tree. 61m high, waiting to be climbed not for the feint hearted! Now off to settle into our overnight accommodation in the Forest!

Leaving Pemberton behind us we’re on our way to the Valley of the Giants, the Ancient Empire & Treetop Walk near Walpole. Adore the Gigantic tingle trees from the elevated treetop walk or stay on the ground & walk amongst the magnificent bases of the impressive trees which gave the area its name. Followed by a beach swim at the stunning Greens Pool in Williams Bay National Park where you can see the Elephant Rocks, explore, have a picnic, enjoy!! Continuing through the town of Denmark, enroute to Albany exploring the spectacular coastline along the way! Check out the amazing highlights of Albany including the Blowholes, The Gap & Natural Bridge where on most days you will hear & feel the forces of nature at work. Not forgetting Middleton Beach and King Georges Sound, from here we make our way to Albany for our overnight stay. Overnight: Albany Backpackers
An early start takes us through the beautiful Stirling Ranges to Bluff Knoll where we stretch our legs before heading to Hyden the closest town to the amazing Wave Rock! This granite cliff is 15 metres high & 110 metres long, the perfect wave for any wannabe surfer! After lunch we will be aiming towards the coast to the town known as the Jewel of the South – Esperance. Enjoy The Great Ocean Drive with stunning scenery including Twilight Cove & the Pink Lake, to our accommodation for the next 2 nights.

This morning have your lunch packed for a day of exploration & relaxation in the awesome Cape Le Grand National Park. Our first port of call is a hike to Frenchmans Peak, well worth it for the commanding views of the Esperance region. You’ll be looking forward to a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters and white sands of Lucky Bay. Hellfire Bay is our amazing backdrop for lunch today & the rest of the day is yours to enjoy! Plenty of time to chill out before making our way back to our accommodation.

On Day 6 we say farewell to Esperance & the Southern Ocean as its time for us to head north through the Goldfields region to Australias largest outback City – Kalgoorlie. Here well take you to have a look at the Super Pit – one of the largest open cut Goldmines in the world. Enjoy an Underground Mine Tour, pan for gold, walk through the historic precinct & immerse yourself in the historic mining industry. Next up.. We drive along Hay Street past the infamous red light district & take a look inside on an eye-opening tour of a real working brothel. And as its our final night together as a group its time to Party!!!
Overnight: Kalgoorlie Backpackers
Time to leave Kalgoorlie-Boulder the town full of amazing sights including displays of gold rush paraphernalia, magnificent historic architecture, St Mary’s Church, The Government Buildings and the Kalgoorlie Miner Building. Back on the bus its a straight drive back to Perth with a stop to stretch our legs. We arrive early in the evening to Perths city centre where we leave the bus with a backpack filled of unforgettable memories and say farewell to our new friends!
